Product Care

Product Care

Children’s audio toys, character pieces, headphones, chargers, and storage accessories are made for regular family use, but they still need reasonable care. Drops, spills, rough handling, chewing, forced connectors, heat, and dirt can affect both appearance and function.

A few simple habits can help keep products working properly and reduce avoidable damage.

Adult Setup and Supervision

Initial setup, charging, pairing, content loading, and troubleshooting should be handled by an adult. Children may be able to use the product independently after setup, but adult supervision remains important, especially with electronic devices, cables, headphones, and small accessories.

Age guidance and product instructions should be reviewed before use. If a product includes detachable parts, they should be checked regularly to ensure they remain secure and suitable for the child using them.

Charging and Cables

Use the charging cable or charging method recommended for the product. Forcing a connector, using damaged cables, or charging with incompatible accessories may affect performance or create safety risks.

Charging ports should be kept clean and dry. If a cable does not fit easily, do not force it. Inspect the port and cable first, then contact support if the issue continues.

Battery Care

For rechargeable audio devices, avoid leaving the product connected to power for unusually long periods after charging is complete. Store the device with some battery charge if it will not be used for a while.

If the product becomes unusually hot, gives off an odor, fails to charge, or behaves irregularly during charging, stop using it and disconnect it from power.

Cleaning

Clean exterior surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking the product or allowing water to enter speakers, charging ports, seams, buttons, or headphone components.

Do not use bleach, alcohol-heavy cleaners, abrasive pads, household solvents, or sprays directly on electronic parts. Strong cleaners can damage finishes, printed artwork, speaker areas, or plastic components.

Water and Moisture

Unless a product is specifically described as water-resistant, it should be kept away from water, drinks, bath areas, pools, sinks, rain, and wet surfaces.

If a product gets wet, turn it off if possible, disconnect it from power, and allow it to dry fully before use. Products exposed to liquid may not return to normal function.

Drops and Rough Handling

Light bumps may happen during ordinary play, but repeated drops or hard impacts can loosen internal parts, crack cases, affect buttons, or damage speakers.

Electronic devices should not be thrown, stepped on, sat on, or stored under heavy objects. Character pieces and accessories should also be kept away from rough play that could crack, bend, or break them.

Chewing and Small Parts

Children may put toys or accessories in their mouths, but chewing can damage surfaces, printed details, seams, magnets, speakers, connectors, or small parts. Products showing bite marks or saliva damage should be checked before continued use.

Loose, broken, or detached parts should be removed from use immediately. Small components can create safety concerns if damaged or separated.

Headphones and Volume

Headphones should be used at a reasonable volume and for suitable listening periods. Parents or guardians should monitor listening habits, especially for younger children.

Cables, ear cushions, and connectors should be inspected regularly. Do not allow children to pull headphones by the cord or wrap cables tightly around devices.

Storage

Store devices, character pieces, cables, and accessories in a clean, dry place when not in use. A shelf, storage case, or travel pouch can help reduce loss and damage.

Avoid leaving products in hot cars, direct sunlight, damp rooms, outdoor areas, or places where they may be stepped on or crushed.

Travel Care

When traveling, pack audio devices and accessories in a protective pouch or case. Loose storage in backpacks or luggage can lead to scratches, damaged buttons, bent connectors, or missing pieces.

Before travel, check that chargers, cables, headphones, and character pieces are packed together. Missing accessories are easier to prevent than replace later.

Content Pieces and Character Toys

Character pieces or content-related toys should be kept clean and dry. If a device does not recognize a piece, check that both the device and the piece are clean, undamaged, and positioned correctly.

Paint wear, surface marks, and small scuffs may develop with regular handling. These cosmetic changes do not always affect function.

When to Stop Using a Product

Stop using a product if it has cracked housing, exposed wires, loose parts, unusual heat, distorted sound, charging problems, liquid exposure, or damage that could affect safe use.

Damaged electronic products should not be forced back into use. Contact support if the issue relates to a recent order or delivery condition.
